CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Funeral for Zelma Finley of Charleston will be held at 11 a.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home. The Rev. David Dowdy will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
Finley, 73, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Oct. 14, 1928, in Walnut Ridge, Ark., daughter of James Henry and Mittie Jackson Spray. She and Dallas Finley were married Oct. 8, 1942.
Finley lived in Charleston most of her life, and retired from Bessie's Restaurant in 1992.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Monica Finley of Bertrand, Mo.; a sister, Velma Butler of Charleston; and a granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
