DONGOLA, Ill. -- Graveside service for Zelma Colboth of Wadsworth, Ill., will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Cemetery in Dongola. The Rev. Paul Sadler will officiate.
Crain Funeral Home in Dongola is in charge of arrangements.
Colboth, 82, died Tuesday, May 1, 2001, at Terrace Nursing Home in Waukegan, Ill.
She was born Aug. 26, 1918, in Dongola, daughter of George and Effie Daywalt Garrott. She and George T. Colboth were married Aug. 3, 1940. He died Nov. 11, 1960.
Colboth moved from Dongola in 1941. She had worked at Victory Memorial Hospital, Downey Veterans Hospital, and retired from the U.S. Post Office in Waukegan.
Survivors include two sons, Darrell Colboth of Beach Park, Ill., Dan Colboth of Wadsworth; a twin sister, Zella Lacy of Waukegan; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons and a brother.
