ZELLA PROST

PERRYVILLE -- Zella Flora Prost, 96, of Perryville died Thursday, Aug. 21, 1997, at her home.

She was born Sept. 17, 1900, in Perry County, daughter of William F. and Rosa S. Klemp Hoffman. She and Elliott Prost were married Sept. 12, 1921. He died in 1952.

Prost was retired from International Shoe Co. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, VFW Auxiliary, and Senior Citizens.

Survivors include a daughter, Verna Esselman of Perryville; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, and a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-9:40 a.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
