PATTON -- Zack B. Grindstaff, 85, of Patton died Saturday, Jan. 18, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 20, 1911, at Patton to Jefferson and Mary Seabaugh Grindstaff.
He married Gertrude Aslinger on Feb. 16, 1935.
He retired from a shoe factory in Fredericktown, where he was a stock room clerk.
He was a member of Post Oak Congregational Methodist Church of Patton and the Happy Old People of Patton since 1971.
Survivors include his wife; one brother, Hadley Grindstaff of Marble Hill; and one sister, Rose McKinley of Pennsylvania. One brother and three sisters preceded him in death.
Visitation is at 3:30 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Revs. Bobby Trentham and Julius Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Post Oak Cemetery near Patton.
