Zachary Albert "Zak" Mazade, 30, passed away Monday, Aug. 16, 2021, near his home in Jackson, where he lived with his fiance, Vesper Hawkins, and bonus son, Brendon Hawkins. Zachary Albert "Zak" Mazade, 30, passed away Monday, Aug. 16, 2021, near his home in Jackson, where he lived with his fiance, Vesper Hawkins, and bonus son, Brendon Hawkins.

Zak was born in Saint Louis March 1, 1991, to Henry and Linda Robin Mazade. He had two brothers, Michael Mazade of Nixa, Missouri, and Andrew Mazade of Festus, Missouri.

Zak worked as a customer service representative at Tri-State Water, Power & Air.

He had a lot of friends and touched the hearts of everyone he knew. He loved spending time at home, where he adored his fiance and bonus son and best friends, Timothy Mitchell of Saint Louis and Gregory Hawkins of Jackson.

He attended church at The Spark Ministries in McClure, Illinois, where he loved to listen to Pastor Aaron Boyd because he sounded like his late mother preaching.

Zak is survived by his fiance, Vesper Hawkins, and bonus son, Brendon Hawkins of Jackson; father, Henry Mazade of Saint Louis; grandparents, Daniel and Ruby Silvers of Jackson; and brothers, Michael Mazade of Nixa and Andrew Mazade of Festus. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Robin Mazade.

Zak's wishes were to not have a funeral, but he wanted his life celebrated. Arrangements for a celebration of life will be decided at a later date.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
