Wyvonna May Marie Huckabee, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, at her home. She was born Sept. 5, 1926, in Greenbriar, Mo., daughter of Charles A. and Ethel Inmann Jackson. She and Floyd Huckabee were married June 14, 1947, in Pocahontas, Ark. He preceded her in death April 16, 2000...

Wyvonna May Marie Huckabee, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, at her home.

She was born Sept. 5, 1926, in Greenbriar, Mo., daughter of Charles A. and Ethel Inmann Jackson. She and Floyd Huckabee were married June 14, 1947, in Pocahontas, Ark. He preceded her in death April 16, 2000.

Wyvonna had lived in Cape Girardeau since 1962. She was the manager of Townhouse Motel from 1965 to 1970, at which time she retired. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Jackson.

Survivors include three sons, Ronald Floyd (Mary Jane) Huckabee, John Charles Huckabee, and Mark Stephen Huckabee, all of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, Rhonda Cheri (Kevin) Jones, Chad Stephen (Nicole) Huckabee, Aimee Yvonne (David) Martin, Kelly Marie (Kenny) Gardner; 13 great-grandchildren, Jessica, Tyler and Mallory Jones, Peyton and Cortney Huckabee, Eann and Owen Gardner, Tabitha, David, Dustin, Dylan and Luke Martin, and Kaileigh Huckabee; and a great-great-granddaughter, Brooklynne Ginn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dean Heady officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
