James Wyatt Koehler, 48, of Millersville passed away Monday, April 27, 2015, as the result of a fatal vehicle accident.
He was born Nov. 5, 1966, in Cape Girardeau to Ronald and Norma Deimund Koehler.
Wyatt graduated from Jackson High School in January 1984. He served honorably in the Army National Guard from April 17, 1984, to April 16, 1990.
He worked the past 18 years at Procter and Gamble in Cape Girardeau and previously was employed at Kasten Masonry in Jackson and Hacker Plumbing in Cape Girardeau.
He was an avid hunter and a member of the NRA. Wyatt enjoyed horseback riding and owning horses.
Loving survivors include three sons, Cody (Tara) Koehler of Glenallen, Missouri, Caleb Koehler and fiancee Courtney Burton of Marble Hill, Missouri, and Jacob Koehler of Millersville; his parents, Ron and Norma Koehler of Millersville; three grandchildren, Tristan and Austin Newell, Annistyn Koehler and a fourth grandchild expected soon; two siblings, Dale Koehler of Cape Girardeau and Donna (Nick) Powell of Cape Girardeau; two nieces; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by an uncle, Doug Koehler, and paternal and maternal grandparents.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the donor's choice of church or charity.
