BELL CITY -- W.T. Brown, 94, of Bell City, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born March 5, 1899, in Fox, Ark., son of Benjamin and Corna Aldona Johnson Brown. He and Plumer Jane Dowdy were married in June 1922. She died in March 1965. He later married Eva Mae Worsham Dec. 18, 1967. She died April 22, 1993.
Brown was a retired farmer, and member of Shady Acres Church of Christ at Sikeston.
Survivors include two sons, Onis Brown of Fruitland Park, Fla., Oather Brown of Hayti; a daughter, Helen Dockins of Bell City; a half sister, Retha Kirkpatrick of Houston, Texas; 16 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
A son and four sisters also preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Johnny Hester will officiate, assisted by Louis Gardner. Burial will be in Malden Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
