WRETHA V. WILKERSON

BERTRAND -- Wretha V. Wilkerson, 70, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Bertrand, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 1991, at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.

She was born Oct. 17, 1920, at Charleston, daughter of Charles and Rachel Grisswald Ervin. She and Joseph A. Wilkerson were married June 29, 1935. He died March 7, 1980.

Wilkerson had lived in Memphis 12 years.

Survivors include three sons, Billy Wilkerson of Bertrand, Bob Wilkerson of Memphis, Terry Bertrand of Mountain Home, Ark.; a daughter, Patricia Arrington of Little Rock, Ark.; a sister, Berge Eggimeyer of Chester, Ill.; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at McMikle Funeral Chapel in Charleston. The Rev. Danny Tackett will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m today.
