PERRYVILLE -- Service for Woodrow Wilson will held be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Young & Sons Chapel with Rev. Jerry Statler officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery in Perryville.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.

Wilson, 78 years old, was born Nov. 25, 1912 at Temple, Tex., son of Hershel B. and Alice Harris Wilson.

He died Saturday, Dec. 22, 1990 at Perry County Memorial Hospital here.

He married Gladys Damke on April 1, 1945. She survives.

Other survivors include sons, Byron Wilson, of Effingham, Ill., and Harry Schaedler, St. Louis; a daughter, Joyce Dawson, Tigard, Ore.; sister, Louvenia McGregor, of Temple, Tex.; and five grandchildren.

He was a member of the Perryville Chamber of Commerce; the Lions Club; United Methodist Men's Club; Moolah Temple; and the Perryville Eastern Star. Her served six years on the Perryville District 21 School Board.

He was owner and operator of Wilson's Five & Dime Variety at Perryville.
