SIKESTON -- Woodrow William Welker of Sikeston died at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston Friday, Oct. 11, 1991.

He was born June 10, 1914, at Cape Girardeau, son of James Franklin Welker and Hersilla Pair Welker.

He married the former Mary Frances Stover, Sept. 2, 1939, at High Ridge, Mo. She survives.

He was a maintenance foreman for the Missouri State Highway Department, retiring in 1979.

Survivors include a son, James Welker, Vacaville, Calif.; daughter, Marilou Beck, St. Louis; grandchildren, Cheryl Lemin, Vacaville, Calif., Marisa Beck and Adam Beck, both of St. Louis; and one step grandchild, Rachel Beck, St. Louis.

Service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Eastside Church of the Nazarene, Sikeston, with the Rev. E. K. Purcell officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park at Lutesville.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel, Sikeston, after 5 p.m. today.
