MOUNDS, Ill. -- Woodrow Wilson McDaniel, 82, of Eureka, Mo., formerly of Mound City died Sunday, March 12, 1995, at the St. Joseph Hills Nursing Home in Eureka.

He was born Aug. 3, 1912, at Mound City, the son of Benjamin and Nettie Gilmore McDaniel. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include six nephews, Earl Tally of Carbondale, Bill Tally of Altamount, Mark Tally of Mounds, Wilbur Calvin of Cairo, Harve Calvin Jr., of Orlando, Fla., and Joel Calvin of Lakeland, Fla.; and six nieces, Lorena Danby of Carbondale, LaWanda Full of Cairo, Helen Moyers of Mounds, Lenis Greenwalt of Germantown, Tenn., Edna Dawson of Chicago and Rosemary Wood of Lakeland, Fla.

Friends may call after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the National Cemetery in Mound City with the Rev. F. Jerry Herring officiating.
