PARMA -- Woodrow Dugan, 83, died Friday, April 19, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Oct. 1, 1912, near Malden, to William and Margaret Cotton Dugan. He and Irene Whitworth were married Dec. 13, 1941, at Clarkton.
Dugan lived in Parma where he farmed for most of his life. He also operated a cotton gin there for Spitzer Farms. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife of Parma; two sons, Robert Dugan of Parma and William T. Dugan of Marshfield, Ind.; a daughter, Barbara Jones of Dexter; a brother, Albert Pruitt of Rector, Ark.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a half-brother.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Carl O'Dell will officiate with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
