WINIFRED GRAHAM

THEBES, Ill. -- Winifred Graham, 76, of Thebes, Ill., died Saturday, Feb. 22, 1997, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 14, 1920, in Alexander County, Ill., the daughter of John and Flo Iona Eidson Hall. She married Henry Graham on Oct. 18, 1957. He preceded her in death on Aug. 31, 1982.

She had worked at Olin-Mathes in Wood River and as a nurse's aide on the OB floor at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church in Olive Branch.

She is survived by one son, Henry Graham Jr. of Cape Girardeau; five daughters, Doris Denton and Kim Beegle of Thebes, Iona Stiles of Bloomington, Ill., Karen Cockrum of Alabama and Carolyn Hayner of South Carolina; one stepson, Gene Graham of Mt. Vernon; 22 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, and from 8 a.m. to time of service Tuesday, at Trinity Assembly of God Church in Olive Branch. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Ben Harris officiating. Burial will be in Twente Cemetery.
