PULASKI, Ill. -- Winifred Reeves Cagle, 97, of Livonia, Mich., formerly of Pulaski and Branson, Mo., died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005, at the home of a daughter and son-in-law in Livonia.
She was born March 26, 1908, in Pulaski, daughter of James Franklin and Hallie Olive Bankson Reeves. She married James Harold Cagle, who died Oct. 6, 1984.
Mrs. Cagle had been a secretary with the University of Illinois-Champaign.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara and Don Erickson of Livonia, Jill Adams of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister-in-law, Muriel "Mermie" Reeves of Pulaski; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Franklin Reeves May 4, 1988, and an infant daughter, Martha Sue Cagle Aug. 2, 1929.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pulaski, with Wiley D. Godfrey officiating.
Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery prior to the hour of service.
Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
