WINFRED D. SANDER

Winfred D. Sander, 75, 117 S. Louisiana, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Feb. 20, 1919, at Dutchtown, son of George F. and Cora McClard Sander. He and Lorene Schlegel were married May 27, 1959, in Cairo, Ill.

Sander was a punch press operator at the former Superior Electric. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, George Sander of Bismarck, and a sister, Ruby Held of Scott City.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel from 5-7 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Neil Stein officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery, with graveside rites by VFW Post 3838.
