Wilna F. Lattin, 84, of Lyons, Kan., died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000, at Rice County Hospital District No. 1 in Lyons.
She was born July 22, 1916, in Elyria, Kan., daughter of John and Emilie Flegel Borth. She and Walter Leon Lattin were married March 16, 1941, in McPherson, Kan. He died Feb. 1, 1996.
Lattin had been a Pomeranian breeder and dog groomer. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, its Esther Guild and VFW Auxiliary 2715, all in McPherson.
She lived in McPherson from 1931 until moving to Lyons in 1998.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Lattin of Lyons, James Lattin of Newton, Kan.; a daughter, Dr. Linda Burns of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Edna Niehage and Virginia Kenney of Inman, Kan., Gertrude Frank of Sacramento, Calif., Ellen Charlsen of Newton; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
Friends may call at Glidden-Ediger Funeral Home in McPherson from 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery.
