Wilmer E. Raebel, 87, of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, May 15, 1995, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center. He was born Aug. 28, 1907, at Barnhart, son of Ferdinand and Mayme Meyer Raebel. Wilmer E. Raebel, 87, of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, May 15, 1995, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.

He was born Aug. 28, 1907, at Barnhart, son of Ferdinand and Mayme Meyer Raebel. He and Mabel Murphy were married Dec. 7, 1935, at Union.

Raebel was a real estate developer with Standard Oil Co. from 1925-69.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Kay Voges of Cape Girardeau, Lois Boehm of Palm Desert, Calif.; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral service will be private, with the Rev. Barry Pfanstiel officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
