Wilma Ruth Tesson, 89, of Jackson, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016, at her home.
She was born Aug. 17, 1927, in Bismarck, Missouri, daughter of Clyde and Lorene Meadows Peterman. She and Lowell Miinch were married, and they had five children. Later in life, she married Frank Tesson. He passed away Aug. 23, 2009.
Wilma worked for Thorngate textile manufacturing in Cape Girardeau as a top stitcher. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Loving survivors include two daughters, Jo (Jay) Mitchem of Patton, Missouri, and Vicki Ambrose of Bethalto, Illinois; three sons, John (Vickie) Miinch of Sedgewickville, Missouri, Harold (Paulette) Miinch of Patton and Doug Miinch of Jackson; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three stepchildren, Mike (Carol) Tesson of O'Fallon, Missouri, Diana Barton and companion Jim of Warrenton, Missouri, and Vicky (Dave) Blaser of Swanee, Florida.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Gary Ambrose; an infant grandchild; an infant great-grandchild; a sister; and two brothers.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Rock International Ministries, 502 W. Main Street, Suite E, Jackson, MO 63755 or Crown Hospice.
McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
