JACKSON -- Funeral service for Wilma Natalie Ludwig of Jackson will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The Rev. David Johnson will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Ludwig, 87, died Monday, Jan. 22, 1996, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 7, 1908, in Arnsburg, daughter of Henry J. and Clara Alma Hoppe Sewing. She and John J. Ludwig were married Aug. 7, 1929. He died Feb. 27, 1993.
Ludwig attended Oak Ridge and College High Schools, then received a teaching certificate. She taught at Millheim School in Perry County and Old Appleton School.
She worked at International Shoe Co. in Jackson about 15 years, retiring in 1973. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Church, member of the former Harmony Homemakers Club, and had been a leader of the former Harmony 4-H Club.
Survivors include a son, Randy Ludwig of Jackson; two daughters, Doris Ford of Cape Girardeau, Shirley Bishop of Jackson; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
