PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Wilma C. Mueller, 88, of Perryville passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Independence Care Center of Perry County. She was born Feb. 27, 1924, in Menfro, Mo., daughter of Henry F. and Bertha Roth Lohmann. She and Erwin T. Mueller were married Oct. 19, 1947. He preceded her in death Sept. 5, 2003...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Wilma C. Mueller, 88, of Perryville passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Independence Care Center of Perry County.

She was born Feb. 27, 1924, in Menfro, Mo., daughter of Henry F. and Bertha Roth Lohmann. She and Erwin T. Mueller were married Oct. 19, 1947. He preceded her in death Sept. 5, 2003.

Mrs. Mueller was a secretary at Perryville High School from 1943 to 1947. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, Mo., Salem Senior Servants and Farm Bureau and she was a 4-H Club community leader.

Survivors include four children, Linda (Alan) Verseman of Frohna, Mo., Don (Diann) Mueller of Perryville, Richard (Darlene) Mueller of Columbia, Mo., and Karla (Roger) Versemann of Perryville; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-law, Oneida Mahnken, Mildred Bachmann, Elinor Roth, Eunice (Nelson) Roth and Florence (Donald) Steffens; and three brothers-in-law, Gilbert Villhard, Armin Mueller and Orville Bachmann.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Edmund, Arthur and Rudy Lohmann; and three sisters, Emma Oswald, Frieda Lohmann and Alida Villhard.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, with the Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Salem Lutheran General Fund or Saxony Lutheran High School.
