OLD APPLETON, Mo. — Wilma C. Meyer, 88, of St. Louis, formerly of Old Appleton, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at St. Alexius Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born Aug. 17, 1919, daughter of Ignatius and Louise Schloss Meyer.
Meyer retired as a nurse assistant in the nursery at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis. She was a member of St. Anthony's Parish and its quilting society.
Survivors include three brothers, Rudy, Herman and Raymond Meyer, all of St. Louis; two sisters, Leona Shaw of Cape Girardeau and Mary Lou Meyer of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville, Mo. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek, Mo. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery in Apple Creek.
