SIKESTON, Mo. -- Wilma Elizabeth McClung, 79, of Sikeston died Monday, July 31, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 19, 1920, in Randolph, Tenn., daughter of Joe and Ruth Standridge Morgan. She and J.D. McClung were married Dec. 9, 1939, in Covington, Tenn. He died March 12, 1989.
McClung was a member of Miner Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Victor McClung of Sikeston; three daughters, Joan and Elaine McClung of Sikeston, Ruth Dillender of Bertrand, Mo.; two sisters, Betty Baskin of Covington, Bernadine McAfee of Burlison, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a brother, two sisters, and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Lee Fansler officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
