ORAN, Mo. — Wilma Crader, daughter of the late Henry John and Marzella Sheppard Dudley, was born July 25, 1920, in Madison County, Missouri, and departed her life Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri, at the age of 102 years.
On Nov. 10, 1938, she was united in marriage to Willard L. Crader in Bloomfield, Missouri. He preceded her in death Dec. 16, 2013.
She was a former farmer's wife, working alongside her husband in the field for more than 70 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who loved her family. Wilma celebrated her 75-year wedding anniversary with the love of her life, Willard, along with family and friends Nov. 9, 2013.
She was a 60-year member of First Baptist Church in Oran, where she volunteered for various projects and dinners. She was a past worthy matron of Eastern Star in Morley, Missouri, and a resident of Oran.
Survivors include three sons, Harold (Jan) Crader of St. Louis, Kenneth (Kathie) Crader of Bald Knob, Arkansas, and Robert (Donna) Crader of Mindoro, Wisconsin; four grandsons, Rodney, Jason, Travis and Zachary Crader; and four great-grandsons, William, Lukas, Hendrix and Devereaux Crader.
Besides her loving husband and parents, Wilma was preceded in death by four brothers, Johnny, twin Wilford, Willard and Raymond Dudley; and two sisters, Dorothy London and Lorraine London.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 25, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 26, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Morley.
