CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Wilma Frances Telker Bohannon, 79, of Charleston died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo. She was born Jan. 13, 1925, in Texas Bend, daughter of Wilbert Raymond and Margaret Renaud Telker. She married Calvin Lawrence Bohannon June 27, 1953, in Charleston. He died Feb. 19, 2002...

CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Wilma Frances Telker Bohannon, 79, of Charleston died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

She was born Jan. 13, 1925, in Texas Bend, daughter of Wilbert Raymond and Margaret Renaud Telker.

She married Calvin Lawrence Bohannon June 27, 1953, in Charleston. He died Feb. 19, 2002.

She lived in Charleston most of her life, and was a 1945 graduate of St. Henry High School. She worked in food services for the Charleston public schools. She was a longtime member of St. Henry Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and served on many committees.

Survivors include a son, Dr. Larry Bohannon of Sikeston; a daughter, Connie Reeves of Charleston; two brothers, Joe Telker and Charles Telker, both of Charleston; two sisters, Dorothy Uthoff and Frances Telker, both of Charleston; and three grandsons.

She was preceded in death by four brothers.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston. Prayers will be at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Henry Catholic Church with Monsignor Richard Rolwing and the Rev. David Coon officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
