PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Wilma Fernita Blunt, 80, died Saturday, June 16, 2001, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 18, 1920, at Edwardsville, Ill., to Arbie and Minnie A. Kline Nesbit.
She married James C. "Clark" Blunt on Sept. 23, 1954. She and her husband owned and operated Blunt's Groceries in Steeleville, Mo., for several years before moving to Perryville.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Perry County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the Quiltmakers Club. She also volunteered at the Regional Family Crisis Center at Perryville.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Vivian Shea of Perryville; six grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Michael Kelpe officiating. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
