Willis Williams, 73, 523 S. Benton, died Monday, May 8, 1995, at St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born July 4, 1921, in Cape Girardeau, son of Joshua and Lula Cardwell Williams. He and Violet Wilson were married March 17, 1945, in Cape Girardeau. She preceded him in death.
Williams had been a machine operator and small business owner. He had lived in Chicago, Cape Girardeau and St. Louis.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Ar-Razzaaq of St. Louis; three brothers, Lloyd Williams of Chicago, Elbert Williams of Alaska, Robert Williams of Norfolk, Va.; three sisters, Ida Williams of Cape Girardeau, Doretha Riley of Seattle, Wash., Ruby Johnson of Chicago, and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Johnny Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
