CHARLESTON -- Willie Triplett, 63, of Charleston, died Friday, July 31, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 21, 1929 in Lake Village, Ark., son of Hansey Triplett Sr. and Susie Ousley Triplett.
He was a retired farmer.
On May 12, 1954, he married Sadie Scott, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are two sons, Willie Triplett Jr. and Robert Anthony Triplett, both of Charleston; six daughters, Julia Thomas of Mayfield, Ky., and Linda Ann Triplett, Bobbie Jean Sager, Mary Jeannette Hightower, Sandra Faye Clark, and Lula Michelle Triplett, all of Charleston; three brothers, Arthur Triplett of Kokomo, Ind., Robert Triplett of Chicago and Archie Triplett of Staten Island, N.Y.; one sister, Corine Peterson of Milwaukee; 21 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday at the Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel with the Rev. William Watson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
