PUXICO -- Funeral service for Willie Joe Lynch of Puxico will be held at 2 p.m. today at Hobbs Chapel Church near Puxico, with the Rev. Dolen Morris officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Watkins and Sons Funeral Home at Puxico is in charge of arrangements.
Lynch, 65, died Sunday, March 19, 1995, at his home.
He was born Aug. 19, 1929, at Dudley, son of Bennie and Bessie Lee Robinson Lynch.
Lynch lived in Pontiac, Mich., 32 years, and was a retired employee of Fischer Body. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include Garrett Lynch of Pontiac, Eric Lynch of Puxico; two daughters, Gail Lynch of Waterford, Mich., Laurie Mardis of Knoxville, Tenn.; his father of Dudley; three brothers, Carlos Lynch of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., Paul and Marion "Red" Lynch of Puxico; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
