SIKESTON -- Willie Irene Branum, 87, of Sikeston died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born March 12, 1911, in Dickson, Tenn., daughter of William John and Mae Moore Murrell. She and William Edward Branum were married Sept. 22, 1928, at Benton. He died Sept. 14, 1974...

SIKESTON -- Willie Irene Branum, 87, of Sikeston died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born March 12, 1911, in Dickson, Tenn., daughter of William John and Mae Moore Murrell. She and William Edward Branum were married Sept. 22, 1928, at Benton. He died Sept. 14, 1974.

Survivors include two daughters, Laquitta Denton of Arvada, Colo., Patricia Kelley of Seymour, Tenn.; a sister, Lela Robinson of Peoria, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers, and three sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Brian Smith officiating. Burial will be in Sikeston City Cemetery.
