William Dale Williford, 61, of Flowood, Miss., died Friday, June 21, 2002, in Jackson, Miss.
He was born July 3, 1940, in Mississippi County, Mo., son of Vernon and Claireece Williford.
Formerly of Charleston and Wyatt, Mo., he had lived in Flowood the past 15 years.
Williford was a construction worker and wood worker. He was a member of a songwriters guild.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte; three sons, William Williford Jr. of Wigby, Wash., Dale Williford of Lacey, Wash., Vernon Williford of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two daughters, Kim Williford of Phoenix, Ariz., Brandy McDonald of Pearl, Miss.; his mother and stepfather, Claireece and Bill Rife; five brothers, Dennis Williford of Mocksville, N.C., Winston Williford of Cape Girardeau, Dana Rife of Granite City, Ill., Roy Woodruff of Bridgeport, Texas, Tommy Woodruff of Bardwell, Ky.; three sisters, Joyce Greiner of Highland, Ill., Phillis Wright of Sheboygan Falls, Wis., Cynthia Moser of Bardwell; and 11 grandchildren.
The funeral was held June 26 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl.
