William Malcom "Bill" Willett, 73, of Cedar Hill, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 2, 2002, at his home.
He was born March 24, 1929, in Detroit, Mich., son of Merlin Charles and Mary Cordelia Roberts Willett. He and Margie Collins were married in St. Louis.
Willett worked nearly 35 years at Charts, Graphs and Mapping Information Service with the federal government.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Ruth Willett of Albuquerque, N.M., Robin Mitchell of Germantown, Md., Claudia Dionne of Modesto, Calif., Marilyn Willett of St. Louis, Sherrie Weber of Cedar Hill; a sister, Mary Jo Westrich of Cape Girardeau; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Cedar Hill, with the Rev. Norb officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, with full military honors.
