JUSTIN, Texas -- William Craig Watkins, 76, of Justin went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017. He passed away at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Sept. 8, 1941, in Cape Girardeau to William T. and Annabel Seabaugh Watkins. Craig married the love of his life, Mary Emilie Mulkey.

Craig lived his life always ready for an adventure, with a twinkle in his eye, eager to lend a hand and make a friend. He had a strong sense of civic duty and readily took on leadership roles.

In his retirement years, he was happiest behind the handlebars of his motorcycle with Mary as his co-pilot and the open road stretching out ahead. Their travels took them to all of the lower 48 states and most of the Canadian provinces.
