CHARLESTON -- William Taylor, 66, of Charleston, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 1994, at John J. Pershing VA Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
He was born May 11, 1927, at Wolf Island, son of Marion and Frankie Wright Taylor.
Taylor was a retired farm laborer, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Essie; a son, William Taylor Jr. of Chicago; his mother, Frankie Harris of Charleston; a brother, Walter Taylor of Charleston; a stepson and four stepdaughters.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Sparks Funeral Chapel. The Rev. T.R. Tyus will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-7 p.m. Sunday.
