NEW MADRID -- William T. Tollison, 72, of Jackson, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 1993, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 18, 1920, in Plumerville, Ark., son of J.F. and Jame Tomilson Tollison.
He married Helen Rhodes on Dec. 24, 1939 in LaForge, Mo.
He was retired school teacher and assistant pastor of the Day Spring Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Larry Tollison of New Madrid, Jim Tollison of Bald Knob, Ark.; three daughters, Sondra Faulkner of New Madrid, Paula Andrews of Jackson, Linda Collier of Kewanee, Mo.; sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid and from 12-3 p.m. at the Kewanee Baptist Church in Kewanee, Mo.
Funeral services are at 3 p.m. at the Kewanee Baptist Church with the Pastor Steve Francis of the Day Springs Missionary Church, Dr. Rodney Travis of the First Baptist Church in Jackson and the Rev. Jerry Dudley of the Kewanee Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at New Madrid.
