William Dean Sebastian, 76, of Greenville, Mo., died Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 28, 1933, in Cape Girardeau to Albert H. and Mary Jane Cook Sebastian.

He received his bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Rolla Missouri School of Mines.

He worked in the space program for Emerson Electric and McDonnell Douglas and retired in 1980 from Honeywell.

He also owned Lost Creek Lodge in Greenville and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Iona Williams, Cape Girardeau; three nephews, Larry (Tammy) Popp, Gerald Popp and Joe (Abby) Popp, all of Cape Girardeau and a godchild, William Popp of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel, with the Revs. Tom Sullenger and Jim Cooper officiating.

Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
