William Oscar Graham, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Jan. 1, 1993 at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was a resident of the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 23, 1908 in Blodgett, son of Joseph and Rosella James Graham.
He worked as a butcher for Central Foods in Cape Girardeau for over 35 years, retiring in 1973.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific theater. He also attended South Side Baptist Church and was a member of UFCW Union Local 99.
He is survived by two sons, Gerold Graham, Irving, Texas, Thomas Graham, Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Madelen McLaughlin, Cape Girardeau, Joanna McLane, Arcola, Ill.; one brother, Fred Graham, St. Charles; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call today from 4-9 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. Funeral service will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Alan Reasons officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with military graveside rites.
