EAST PRAIRIE -- William O'Neal "Alabama" Morrison, 66, of East Prairie, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 1995, at East Prairie Nursing Center, following a brief illness.
He was born July 12, 1928, in Alabama, son of Albert O'Dell and Emma Elizabeth Kirkland Morrison.
Morrison had worked at M.L. Hines Salvage in Huntsville, Ala., and Roger Allen Salvage in East Prairie.
Survivors include two sons, William Morrison of Moberly, Ricky Morrison of Sikeston; two daughters, Cynthia Stafford of Patton, Martha Linley of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Ed Morrison of Lazy Springs, Ala., Bill Morrison of New Hope, Ala., Ray Morrison of Morgan City, Ala.; four sisters, Ruth Martin and Mable Wiesner of New Hope; Velma Connally and Oma Pence of Grant, Ala., and 14 grandchildren.
Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
