WILLIAM MCCLOUD

ANNA, Ill. -- William F. McCloud, 74, of Anna, died Friday, July 12, 1996, at Union County Hospital.

He was born Nov. 26, 1921, in Jonesboro, son of William C. and Elsie Jane Crowell McCloud. He and Annetta Isom were married Oct. 18, 1942.

McCloud was a retired laborer with Local 1330, and also farmed many years. He was a member of Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sue Zimmerman of Juneau, Wis.; a brother, Paul McCloud of Chester; two sisters, Mary and Helen McCloud of Shawneetown; two grandsons, and a great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and son.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, and Sunday until service time.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard Sullins officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery, with military rites by VFW Post 3455.
