William V. Lambert, 76, of Jackson died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, at his home.
He was born Oct. 17, 1928 in Catron, Mo., son of Will and Lillian Johnson Lambert. He and Uldean Kincade were married Aug. 28, 1948, at Dexter, Mo.
Lambert was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He owned and operated Lambert Peach Orchard in Campbell, Mo. He was the past secretary of the Missouri Peach Merchandise Council and was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Malden, Mo.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Diana Schoolfield, Karen Kassel, both of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Ronald Lambert of Wentzville, Mo., Reginald Lambert of Fairmount City, Ill.; two sisters, Camille Morgan of St. Louis, Reba Cooper of Austin, Texas; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Southern Baptist Church.
Memorial service is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Ernest Nelson officiating.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
