William Henry "Willie" Jones, 75, of Delta passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at the family home. He was born Dec. 26, 1937, in Cape Girardeau, to the late Joseph Henry and Cleo Mansker Jones. Willie was a construction worker. He was a member of Wee-Willie Lawn Mower Racing Club and enjoyed building racing lawn mowers...

William Henry "Willie" Jones, 75, of Delta passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at the family home.

He was born Dec. 26, 1937, in Cape Girardeau, to the late Joseph Henry and Cleo Mansker Jones.

Willie was a construction worker. He was a member of Wee-Willie Lawn Mower Racing Club and enjoyed building racing lawn mowers.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Ruby Collins; a son, Brian Jones; a stepdaughter, Alicia Decker; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Mo.

A graveside service was held Friday at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Siteman Cancer Center, Washington University Campus, Box 1204, 7425 Forsyth Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63105-2161.
