William A. Jackson, 40, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 20, 1973, in Cape Girardeau, to the late Hershel Campbell and Verida Lee Bell Jackson.
William began his primary education in Cape Girardeau and graduated from Central High School in 1992.
William leaves to celebrate a life well lived and his journey to eternal life.
Survivors include best friend, Latibia Jackson of St. Louis; a son, DuJuan Paul Brown of St. Louis; three daughters, Bre'Shel Lovie of St. Louis, Davarea Bird and Jaquayla Brown of Cape Girardeau; nine sisters, Sheri Jackson of Memphis, Tenn., Rosie and Deloise Jackson of Cape Girardeau, Debra Campbell-Taylor and Linda Campbell of Milwaukee, Peggy Tharnton of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Rosemary Campbell, Delia (Steve) Douthit and Carolyn Campbell of Cape Girardeau; seven brothers, Robert Jackson, Andrew Jackson, Kenny (Teresa) Campbell, all of Cape Girardeau, John Jackson of Sikeston, Mo., Greg Campbell of Los Angeles, William Campbell of Milwaukee and Tyrone Walker of Bonne Terre, Mo.; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He also leaves to cherish his memory a very special friend, Betty "B.J." Moore.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Cheryl D. Jackson.
Visitation will be from noon to service time Saturday at Apostolic Promise Church, 750 N. Mount Auburn Road.
A celebration of life service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with Derrick Beasley officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
