William James Walker, 80, of Arab, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Sept. 20, 1911, at McGee, son of Harry Franklin and Annie Magdaline Fish Walker. He and Margaret Oliver were married Nov. 4, 1932, at McGee.
Walker was a retired heavy equipment operator with Missouri Conservation Department and retired carpenter.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Leroy and Bud Walker of McGee, Ted Walker of Advance, Bob Walker of Faunsdale, Ala., Richard Walker of Arab; two daughters, Ann Welker of Brownwood, Billie Morris of St. Louis; 18 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, daughter, brother and two sisters.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. Larry Underwood will officiate, with burial in New Hope-McGee Cemetery at McGee.
