MALDEN, Mo. -- William Arvills Hufford, 62, of Malden died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at his home.
He was born March 2, 1938, in Malden, son of Earl William and Myrtle Bea Keaster Hufford.
He was a building contractor and a member of the New Prospect Church in Malden.
Survivors include three sons, Robin Hufford of Dix, Ill., Johnny Hufford of Kings, Ill., and Mark Hufford of Wayne City, Ill.; five daughters, Susan Southerland of Woodlawn, Ill., Kim Matthews of Odin, Ill., Debbie Alfred of Dallas, Ga., Tresa Down and Anett Braddock, both of Wayne City, Ill.; five brothers, Denzle Hufford of Bloomfield, Mo., and Truman Hufford, Matthew Hufford, Wenzle Hufford and Terry Hufford, all of Malden; two sisters, Mable Bolin of Bernie, Mo., and Rosella Williams of Tidisville, Fla.; and 21 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call from 5:30-8 p.m. today at the Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie, Mo.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Rainey Chapel. The Revs. Truman Hufford and Tom Bolin will officiate, with burial in Stevens Cemetery in Malden.
