CHAFFEE, Mo. -- William B. Hayden, 71, of Chaffee, formerly of Mounds, Ill., died Friday, July 20, 2012, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 31, 1940, in Kentucky, to Bernard and Mary Willett Hayden.
William was a construction worker.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Sue Hayden of Chaffee; three sons, William B. Hayden Jr., Pierre Hayden, David Hayden, all of Chaffee; three daughters, Michelle Hayden of Cape Girardeau, Cindy Hayden and Debbie Hayden of Modesto, Calif.; a stepson, Brian Hayden; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bobbie DuBois of Jonesboro, Ill., Pierre DuBois of Cape Girardeau, Joe DuBois of Edmond, Okla., three sisters, Pat Greer of Cape Girardeau, Betty McBride of Edmond, and Suzie DuBois of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, David.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time Wednesday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
