ANNA, Ill. -- William Harold Stewart, 65, of Anna died Wednesday, April 3, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 18, 1930, in Dresden, Tenn., the son of Robert Benjamin and Verlie Jones Stewart. On July 22, 1950, he married Ruth Webb in Anna. She survives of the home.
He was retired from the Clyde L. Choate Mental Health and Development Center. He also was a member of Anna Masonic Lodge 520 AF&AM and was an Army veteran.
Other survivors include two sons, Danny and Greg Stewart, both of Jonesboro, Ill.; two brothers, Clayton Stewart of Lafayette, Colo., and Charles Stewart of Scottsville, Ky.; four sisters, Virgie Millisen of Chicago, Thelburn Duffer of Rutherford, Tenn., Imogene Harsla of Lisle, Ill., and Bonnie DeYoung of Mesa, Ariz.; a grandson; and a step-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Ralph Lee will officiate.
