DEXTER -- William Howard Taylor, 77, of Dexter, died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Sept. 22, 1914, at Essex, son of W.R. and Mary Caroline McMullin Taylor. He and Catherine Blackman were married Nov. 20, 1941, at Dexter.
Taylor was a farmer, and attended Evangelical Free Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Dr. Philip Taylor of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Toni Pyle of Dexter; two brothers, Thomas and Charles Taylor of Essex; two sisters, Lollie Chrisman and Grace Stuart of Dexter, and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Rainey Funeral Chapel in Dexter. The Rev. Frank Longshore will officiate, with burial in Dexter Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until time of service.
