SIKESTON -- William H. Paylor Sr., 66, of Sikeston, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 23, 1926, in Lamar, Ark., son of Clyde Alben and Birdie Oakley Paylor. He and Mary Dumey were married June 1, 1946, at Sikeston.
Paylor was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus here, Fourth Degree in Cape Girardeau, and veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kenneth Paylor of Memphis, Tenn., William Paylor Jr. of Sikeston; a daughter, Debbie Seiler of Charleston; two sisters, Winnie Yarbrough of Matthews, Barnell Thomas of Chicago, and five grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Church, with Msgr. Bill Stanton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery here.
