PATTON, Mo. -- William "Bill" Lindell Garland, 60, of Patton died Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 2, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, son of William Vern and Thelma Loraine Barks Garland.
Garland worked for VIP industries and was a member of the Little Whitewater Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother of Patton and a sister, Sandy Blaser of San Antonio.

He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Revs. Don Slaten, Donny Ford, Don Estes and Diana Cook officiating.
Burial will be in Pulliam Cemetery near Scopus, Mo.
