PATTON-- William G. Doggett, 82, of Patton died Saturday, Dec. 15, 1995, at Bond Nursing Care Center in Marble Hill.
He was born March 28, 1913, at Patton, son of Jesse and Eliza Seabaugh Doggett.
On June 22, 1939, he married Esther Gallup, who survives.
Other survivors include a son, Larry Doggett of Sedgewickville; a daughter, Kay Gramling of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Virgie Cook of Marble Hill; three granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and seven sisters.
He was a member of Post Oak Congregational Methodist Church and H.O.P. (Happy Old People) of Patton. He served on the Sedgewickville School Board for 20 years and was a charter member of the Bollinger County Livestock Producers Association. He was a retired carpenter and farmer.
Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday. The Rev. W.D. Snyder and the Rev. Julius Mills will officiate, and burial will be in the Post Oak Cemetery at Patton.
